Our Vision

To create a better informed citizenry that is motivated to key into the collective responsibility of National development by effecting positive changes within their local, national and international communities as well as to encourage the youths to display exemplary character as they express the force of this vision in all areas of responsibility and social function.
Our Mission

The education of the mind of the average Nigerian youth in the four cardinal areas of: responsibility, leadership, accountability and legacy.To inspire a deep desire for positive living and the utilization of positive will power to foster individual and social development.
 
Cardinal Objectives
 

At this time of our evolution, all the efforts of Youth 1960 Foundation would focus on the achievement of these objectives:

  • National Awareness: The awareness of our nationhood, our common grounds and the need for unity as we abseil the ladder of Nation building.  
  • Effective Consolidations: Channeling our vibrancy, ingenuity and focus on positive contributions that would foster Nation building as well as international recognition and integration.
  • Exploring our Competencies: A declaration of our strengths in present day Nigeria, which well managed are capable of securing for us a greater future.
  • Exposing our Resourcefulness and Prospects: An exposition of our potentialities as a Nation in view of our unlimited human and mineral resource capital
  • Highlighting Social Pressures: The challenges that stand, today, in the face of our aspirations the walls that we must now tear down.

  • Value Reorientation: Restoring the core values of our fore fathers which has to do with the virtues of respect, decency, knowledge of our costoms, upholding of norms, ethics, brotherly love, patience and the fear of God.
